Today Evey celebrates her first birthday which is just crazy to me.  When we decided to have a baby, I couldn’t even imagine what this day would look like, or even that it would come.  The time has passed so fast, and all of a sudden we have a one year old on our hands!

I can’t even explain how much being a father has changed me, and all for the better.  Aside from my transformation into fatherhood, it’s been so amazing to watch her grow and develop right in front of our eyes.  Everything from first learning to smile, laugh, and sit up, to now crawling, speaking and being on the verge of walking.  Everyday with her is a new day, and seeing her little smiley face instantly makes my day better.  We are so blessed to have such a great kid, I hope we can continue to be great parents to her.
