Recently had the chance to shoot this beautiful family before they move down to Utah. They wanted the photos as something to remember their time here in Seattle so we did them at the apartment complex they spent the last couple years at.

I’m pretty excited to finally share these. The Carlsen’s are a beautiful family with a lot of love. Sometimes I wish I didn’t shoot family portraits but it’s sessions like these that make me grateful to be chosen to step into their space for a bit. So much love and happiness and it shows.

Today Evey celebrates her first birthday which is just crazy to me. When we decided to have a baby, I couldn’t even imagine what this day would look like, or even that it would come. The time has passed so fast, and all of a sudden we have a one year old on our hands!...
